A repository of the bacteria isolated within the SafeConsume project and other projects related to food safety was created in the Microbiology Laboratory of the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering from the Dunarea de Jos University of Galati. This repository hosts isolates of Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella, Campylobacter and Staphylococcus aureus from food and food related environments. These biological resources may serve the needs of various researches or may become reference strains.
